Ian Howard
Managing Director
Ian is the Managing Director of JMP Solicitors. After graduating with an Honours degree in Law in 1997, Ian originally qualified as a Barrister before successfully re-qualifying as a Solicitor in 2000.Ian worked for a leading international law firm before becoming one of the founding members of JMP Solicitors. Ian has extensive experience in complex claimant and defendant litigation including high value personal injury claims, clinical negligence, fatal injuries, industrial disease and accidents at work in addition to all aspects of commercial litigation. In addition to Ian’s legal experience, he is also the Officer responsible for Compliance, Money Laundering and is the Principal in charge of the firm’s trainee solicitors.

Samantha Towle
Director
Samantha is a Director of the firm and a Chartered Legal Executive with over 10 years legal experience, specialising in both claimant and defendant personal injury, including accidents at work, road traffic accidents, public and occupiers liability claims. She leads the team specialising in nuisance claims incurred from Japanese Knotweed and was the lead lawyer in a significant, landmark case of Williams v Network Rail which has changed the landscape on Japanese Knotweed claims for hundreds of householders. Samantha has recovered compensation for a variety of injuries including soft tissue, crush, fractures and PTSD. She provides detailed and reasoned advice to clients and ensures that they receive the correct level of settlement for their claims whilst understanding their particular needs, with past clients having received settlements up to £200,000.A keen litigator, Samantha excels within the litigation process and has been successful at many trials.

Christine Bowerman
Senior Associate Solicitor
Christine is Senior Associate Solicitor, joining JMP Solicitors in 2003.After graduating with a First Class Honours Degree Christine completed her LPC at Nottingham Law School whilst working for the Woodland Trust in Grantham. Qualifying in 2003 she joined JMP and has remained ever since. Christine has gained considerable experience in conducting higher value and complex personal injury claims including serious groin injuries, head injuries and Clinical Negligence cases which include misdiagnosis of cancer and negligent dental treatment. Christine has an increasing caseload of Clinical Negligence cases and is tenacious in her pursuit of justice for her clients what ever the value of the claim.
